Our Story
Guerrilla Art Studio was founded by Shoshana Gleit in February 2019 with the goal of expanding access to the arts in San Mateo-Foster City School District.
The name Guerrilla Art Studio was selected in honor of the Guerrilla Girls, an anonymous group of female artists that opposes discrimination and supports human rights for all people and all genders through their posters, books, and art exhibits.

At Guerrilla Art Studio, it’s our mission to ensure that the arts remain strong. We offer classes to elementary students of all levels.
